Structure
Rack and pinion gate consists of framework, rack and pinion, slide gate, enclosed casing, speed reducing unit, electric actuator, etc.
Working principle
Electric actuator drives the pinion shaft to rotate. Pinion, which is welded to the pinion shaft, travels on a rack. Then two sliding gates made of thick metal sheet, which are connected with a rack, moves horizontally and oppositely inside the valve body to start or stop coal flow.
